Rebuilding Together: Meadow Lake's $6M Co-op Community Builder Campaign

In March 2024, Meadow Lake proudly unveiled the Co-op Community Builder Campaign, a transformative initiative designed to create a vibrant hub for community engagement and wellness. The campaign aims to raise $6 million to fund the construction of a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a central gathering place for Meadow Lake and its surrounding areas.

The new Co-op Centre will feature a modern arena, a versatile fieldhouse, and a dynamic event center, catering to a wide range of recreational, cultural, and community needs. This facility, the largest civic project in Meadow Lake's history, is envisioned to foster connections and enhance physical and mental well-being for generations to come.

Following the unfortunate loss of the community’s previous arena to a fire a few years ago, the need for such a facility has become even more apparent. Meadow Lake's residents require spaces that can accommodate various activities year-round. The Co-op Centre will not only meet these needs but also serve as a catalyst for future community growth and development.

Thanks to the generous support of donors and partners, including a $3 million lead gift from Meadow Lake Co-op, significant progress has already been made toward the campaign's $6 million goal. However, additional contributions are essential to realizing the full potential of this project and ensuring its long-term success.

DCG is proud to be the fundraising partner for the Co-op Community Builder Campaign. Together with community members, businesses, and organizations, we are committed to securing the necessary funds and resources to bring this vision to life.

Join us in building a stronger, more connected Meadow Lake. Your support will make a meaningful impact, creating lasting benefits for current and future generations.
